1. Make sure you have the correct replacement filter, wrench (filter/strap), replacement o ring, food grade silicone grease, plumber’s/teflon tape, a big bucket to catch water, & some rags to clean up with on hand.
2. Shut off water to your house
3. Verify all your water using appliances are turned off.
4. Open the filter canister.
5. Inspect the Old Filter and Clean Out the Filter Housing.
6. Inspect and Replace the O-Ring
6. Put Plumber’s Tape Around the Threads of the Filter Canister.
7. Putting the Replacement Filter In.
8. SLOWLY turn your water back on.
