Kinetico Sales Professional Testing Water - Free Water Test

Everything begins with
well water testing.

Without proper testing, it’s nearly impossible to know for sure what water treatment equipment you need, or if you need any for that matter. But with well water testing, you can confidently know what type of system is best suited for your home and how to calibrate it for peak performance.

Even if you already suspect or know that your water is hard, a professional installer still needs to test the exact hardness levels before setting up the equipment.

What’s Included in Our Free Basic Well Water Test?

Our free basic well water testing covers the most common water quality concerns that affect families in Concord and throughout Northern California. Here’s what we check for:

What’s Included in Our Free Basic Well Water Test?

Water Hardness

If your home relies on well water or city water, chances are you’re dealing with hard water. Hard minerals can shorten the lifespan of your appliances, dry out skin and hair, create stubborn scales on faucets and showerheads. It can also leave behind spots on dishes or even your car after washing. This well water test measures the exact level of hardness minerals in your water.

Total Dissolved Solids (TDS)

TDS reflects the total amount of substances dissolved in your water that aren’t H₂O. These can include salts, minerals, chemicals, metals, or even fluoride. Our test reveals how much is present.

Iron

If you notice orange or rust-colored stains in sinks, toilets, and tubs then you may have excessive iron in your water – a common problem with wells. With this test, we measure exactly how much iron is in your water supply.

Chlorine

While the chances of having chlorine in your well water is slim, this well water testing will show if it’s present. Chlorine is used to kill harmful bacteria, but too much can produce a strong odor and pose health risks. This test checks whether your chlorine levels are safe or excessive.

pH Balance

Lastly, this well water testing shows the pH level which measures whether your water is acidic, neutral, or basic. Proper pH balance protects plumbing, appliances, and your family’s health. It’s helpful to know if your well water pH is too high, too low, or just right to make proper adjustments.

What Will Your Well Water Test Reveal?

After your well water testing is complete, our water technician will walk you through the results.  From this, you’ll learn if your water contains:

  • Hardness minerals that cause scale, buildup, and appliance wear
  • Elevated iron that can leave orange stains in sinks and toilets
  • High chlorine levels that may affect taste, odor, and safety
  • A pH balance that’s too high or too low, which can damage plumbing or impact your health

With this information, you will be able to see what issues might be affecting your home or family, and you will also learn about the treatment options available. You’ll also discuss cost at this point, so you can decide whether making improvements is right for you.

What Isn’t Included in the Free Well Water Test?

Our free well water testing is designed to check for the most common issues homeowners face, but it doesn’t cover every possible contaminant. In fact, there are hundreds of potential substances, many of which the EPA doesn’t even require water providers to test for, because full-spectrum testing can be expensive.

That said, if you have specific concerns such as bacteria, Chromium-6, PFAS, or other contaminants, we can help you find cost-effective solutions to remove them. For a truly comprehensive analysis, we can also arrange for your water sample to be sent to a certified laboratory (lab fees apply).

No matter your concern, our team has the expertise, resources, and treatment options to help you get the safe, clean water you expect.

Gerardo was very professional! His service was above and beyond for our home’s new water softening system and RO system. He worked meticulously, thoughtfully and cautiously to ensure he took good care of our home and the new systems he was installing. We’d gladly welcome him for future work again!
We engaged AAA systems to add RO and water softener system to our house in Tracy CA. The company provided excellent sales followed by excellent installation service. Belmin from sales was informative, nice to interact with, and courteous. Sales is a difficult job and he did it well. He patiently answered all the questions we had and guided us well. Chris R Senior was our installer. He came on time, clearly explained the process, walked us through the system thoroughly and also answered many affiliated questions. Our house plumbing had some unreachable pipe locations and Chris found an innovative solution for it. He left the place very clean and patched any smudged walls. Overall, given the complexity of the process Chris did an amazing job! Thanks Chris.
